VoterDrive.com

As we travel around the country, we'll be asking everyone we meet to join a discussion on the importance of civic participation. We'll have them type their comments on a typewriter hooked up to the World Wide Web, (to this website) creating a permanent record of how they view their role in the democratic process.

We'll also post these comments to our website. We're particularly interested in:

1. Which issues are important to you as an American?

2. Why do you Vote?/Why don't you vote?

3. What do our elected officials need to do to make this country a better place for all Americans?

4. If you ever ran for elected office, what would you stand for?

Look at some of the responses by choosing from the pulldowns. The first pulldown is for questionnaires that were scanned. The second pulldown is for questionnaires that have been entered online.

For scanned questionnaires - the first two letters are the state abbreviation followed by the response number and city if indicated. One exception are surveys completed at the temporary community of Black Rock City, Nevada which start with brc_ and then indicate the hometown if marked (new scans added 09/12/04).

Questionnaires submitted online show name, age and location and are sorted by name.
